I had successfully forgotten that this ever existed. Can’t say as though I miss it.

Cute. Do you drive it or sail it?

You slide it; just look at the shape

I wondered whether you were going to mention the Belgian Kronos racer! It managed to surprise quite a few people. Sadly it did not last.

Those Peugeots and their Fiat/PSA siblings may have looked terribly bland but some traffic cops told me once they were exceedingly comfortable. Quite good on the highway plus nice space inside to write down reports and the like.

The version I saw much less of, not that I saw many Peugeot 806s, was the Fiat Ulysse and never saw a Citroen Evasion.

I had one, somewhat. 2 years ago I bought a 1996 Lancia Zeta as an engine donor. That Lancia was maintained horribly so it had become a beater but when we took it apart it wasn’t a bad car at all, intrinsically.

The engine lives on, in a Peugeot 205.

And the Lancia Zeta? Lancia was discontinued in the UK already at that time, right? I had a ‘96 Zeta 2.0t as an engine donor.

I spotted a Evasion 2.0t at a junk yard a few days ago. It made me think of mr. Biturbo, who (when time and budget allows) was looking for an engine donor as well. There were a few 806s there as well, no Fiats though and none of them (other than the Citroën) with an interesting engine. Only diesels also NA gasoline.

I think Lancia were long gone from the U.K. as you say by then.

The PSA MPV was up against the Ford Galaxy/SEAT Alhambra/VW Sharan, Renault Espace, etc... quite a few vehicles, but very little design as many were made in the same place and we’re literally just a rebadge.

Citroen likely saw it and thought they’d sit it out.
